The localization intervention is the heart of the program. It ensures success in a widely different market, that is known for its cultural and structural differences. Each startup will be supported by a customized contextual listening, localization & enrichment process with the help of domain experts and influencers. By the end of the process the startup shall be able to create a product and user experience suitable for the geography as well as a go-to-market strategy that guides the next steps of the market entry.
Proof-of-Concept Facilitation and Market Access A major hurdle for startups is to find first clients in any given market. T-Hub provides access to major clients through its corporate and government network. The importance of a successful proof-of-concept in that process cannot be underestimated. T-Hub helps with access to potential piloting candidates and provides facilitation support along the PoC process to increase chances of success on both ends, the startup, and the potential client. T-Hub’s support is centered around determination of duration of PoC, hard and fast goals and milestones, roles and responsibilities, rules of engagement, determining strategy around financing and pricing of PoC, materials and documents needed.
The operations intervention aims to get the business ready to develop scalable business practices in the new geography and tackles issues like effective hiring, process driven pipeline building and scalable sales processes. Setting up the business, legal and administrative questions and local funding are similarly relevant questions that will be answered at this stage.
Generally, we for growth-stage start-ups and scale-ups from verticals like FinTech, Healthtech, AgriTech, Sustainability, Smart City and Smart Mobility & Transportation. Deep Tech and Social & Environmental Impact are also of interest to us. The startup companies have preferably secured prior VC funding (Series A, B and above) to be all prepped for their Indian scaling journey ahead. If the startup has scaled into markets other than their home country that’s yet another plus.
The program is structured to support the scale-ups journey entering a new geography that operates quite differently from their home market or other markets more similar.
