B2B Enterprise Solutions
India has made steady progress from being a business process outsourcing hub to a global innovation hub. Companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google and Facebook now have their largest development centers outside of the U.S. in Hyderabad due to the low cost of innovation and the wealth of young, tech savvy talent.
The opportunity for B2B companies in India is especially strong, accounting for 40% of startups and 50% of Indian VC funding. T‑Hub's extensive corporate partner network enables access to major global firms for conversations about partnerships, licensing deals or acquisition.
Clean Technologies & Sustainable Infrastructure
India ranks second in the world in urban population size, with the largest concentration of megacities in the world. This rapid urbanization creates supply gaps for urban infrastructure and services. Population and pollution are directly proportional, and there are rapidly-widening chasms between development and sustainability.
While a water crisis is imminent in large metros like Mumbai and Bangalore, urban and rural parts of India still suffer from poor access to energy. Despite being a subtropical country, harnessing solar power in India is a challenge due to the steep expense of setting up power plants and the low market penetration of solar equipment.
Opportunities abound for startups and scaleups with affordable, proven solutions in areas such as renewable energy and power, water and waste management that can make India a more sustainable place to live.
The Indian life sciences industry employs more than 2.5M people and is projected to see extraordinary growth in the coming years. Similarly, the biotechnology sector expanded by 57% in 2017 to US$11 billion, and is expected to play a key role in shaping the country’s rapidly developing economy. With a profusion of low-cost, high-quality R&D facilities and a well-educated workforce, India is fast emerging as a global leader in these industries, with Hyderabad leading the way.
