Problem Statements

Applicants must address one of these problem statements to qualify for the AISIN X T-Hub Accelerator Program,
solving critical challenges in road maintenance, automotive innovation, and electrification.

Michi-log: AI for Road Maintenance

Michi-log leverages AI to detect potholes, cracks, and measure road flatness (IRI). Startups are invited to:
  • Create user-friendly interfaces for road condition data on web and mobile platforms.
  • Use AI to enhance real-time road analysis and maintenance insights.
Pilot testing will focus on organised roads like the Outer Ring Road (ORR), with collaboration to define road metrics, such as pothole specifications and speed-breaker standards.

Vehicle Design with VR Simulations

Startups are needed to develop scalable VR simulations to:
  • Collect user feedback on vehicle designs like sunroof sizing.
  • Optimise designs efficiently across multiple regions without physical prototypes.
These solutions will streamline design validation, reducing logistical challenges and enhancing precision.

Electrification of Roads

Dynamic EV charging systems need innovation to replace outdated brush-type contactors. Startups are tasked with:
  • Developing brushless contactor systems for EV charging at speeds up to 90 km/h and power levels of 280kW.
  • Ensuring durability (500+ hours), minimal noise, and scalable performance.
These advancements will make EV charging efficient, durable, and eco-friendly, paving the way for a sustainable future.
